Google Maps has become an indispensable tool for me. It's my go-to for navigation, whether I'm driving, walking, or taking public transportation. The real-time traffic updates are incredibly helpful, allowing me to avoid delays and plan my routes efficiently. The accuracy of the maps is generally excellent, and the street view feature is a fantastic way to explore locations virtually.Overall, Google Maps is a highly reliable and feature-rich navigation tool. It's essential for anyone who wants to navigate their way around town or explore new places. I highly recommend it!
Keeps guiding me towards the busiest route.

This app used to be ok. Until last year, now it’s started mapping out the longest and busiest routes to go - and I mean it guides you TO a traffic jam and leads you around 10 minutes to an hour out of your way. My last trip should have only taken 20 minutes each way. Unfortunately the map guided me to a huge traffic jam, and the busiest roads - literally taking me INTO traffic that was bumper to bumper with people beeping horns and almost having accidents, and buses almost sideswiping me - when literally there was a road with no traffic on it straight ahead but it wanted me to turn into traffic that was stopped dead. It did this over and over again. I started ignoring the app until I stopped the car and turned the app off altogether. I am ready to go buy myself a paper map again after that. It turned a 40 minute journey into a 2 hour journey. Please FIX ASAP. That was infuriating and there was no way out of it.This app doesn’t show you the fastest route. It doesn’t show you that the roads are jammed. It doesn’t calculate the time given the traffic situation. It leads you to the busiest route. It will get you lost, or take you very far from your destination causing you to drive far longer, wasting a LOT of time, and gas. I do not recommend this app until it’s fixed.

I love using this app, as its great to find your way around when you are lost. I recently used it whilst on a holiday in Sydney, good to find where I wanted to go around the city. But I think your photos need updating. I saw on yr site that my area has been done. But the photo used in the house where me and my parents used to live 4yrs ago is still old, as we know longer live there. It shows their cars in the carport, and a letterbox we had taken out four years before we left (we put a new one in). So your photo is about 8yrs old. The google earth one is up to date, so I think you guys need to update yours too. Other than that, everything else is great. If your photos were up to date, I'd give you five starts for sure, as I use this app all the time 👍🏻
Roads to them to see when researching

The roads are nearly the same colour as the background Land mess. So it’s very difficult to see the roads when wanting to just have a look around for my own research. They are fine and it works fine once I’ve selected a route and pushed go. For instance right now I’m down in the Catlins of south of Otago, And there is much to explore and do down here. So sometimes I just want to scroll around the map and look at all the different roads. But I can hardly see them and especially if I am zoomed out. So I have to zoom in which defeats the purpose of trying to get an overview
