Edison Mail+
An auto-renewable premium subscription that offers more advanced email experience, particularly in the areas of contact management and security, for 14.99 USD / Month or 99.99 USD / Year. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled within 24-hours before the end of the current period.
A really great email client, works well with problematic addresses and hosts that don’t work well or at all in other clients. I work in a telco store and there are countless times where a customer has struggled to get their emails working and the Edison app has been an extremely easy and smooth solution. Sadly, there’s one big issue with Edison that really impacts the experience in a negative way. All versions (platforms) of the app are very slow to sync, both automatically and manually. Where Outlook or Apple Mail will pick up an incoming email within seconds of it being sent, Edison won’t notice for several minutes and a manual sync may still cause a wait of 20 - 30 seconds. Additionally, the Desktop versions (both Windows and Mac OS) are embarrassingly slow to open - slower than Photoshop! Nothing should take longer than Photoshop to open, especially not an email client! If these issues were fixed I’d happily rate 5 stars, but these performance problems are fairly significant and negatively impact the experience.

Good but please do an update

Lets say you have an email notification on the lock-screen. If you force touch delete or force touch mark as read etc the action does not actually work- though you think it has (but the email is still there and unread when you open the app). Also kinda annoying is opening the app and checking emails does not clear from your recent notifications list. Squash the bugs please.

Please try deleting the app, RESTARTING your iOS device, and then reinstalling Edison Mail/reconnecting your accounts - do these issues persist? Great app

After Google discontinued their Inbox app and shoved me towards their gmail app *with in-app advertising* I immediately knew i needed something else. So i downloaded 7 different email apps and tested them all for a few days. To me, Email by Edison stood out above the rest. I love its customisability with the short and long swipes to either side (the only downside being not able to assign multiple gestures to execute the same task). The inbox was nice and uncluttered, giving me enough information in a small space for to be able to easily understand the contents of all my emails without taking up a lot of room on the screen. I also love the one-touch unsubscribe button, allowing you to avoid having to click through seven different pages on a company’s website and make unsubscribes from emails a breeze.

It’s just too expensive
Apps...Apps & More
Even though this is a really great app, it’s way too expensive. At just over $27 per month, is it really worth it. I will gladly give it five stars if the monthly price comes down.
