I love this game and have spent the past 6-8 weeks playing it every day. It keeps me hooked with the speed at which the levels progress to new settingsHowever, I do have a few things I think could be better:- Gems are very hard to obtain and you often need many of them to upgrade the items so the levels can be passed. It is obvious that this is made difficult so that money is spent in the store, but it is quite frustrating when you are stuck for a couple of days on a level due to this. This could maybe be improved by increasing the amount of gems you get each time you watch an ad, or by shortening the timeframe for freebies to half the current time.- Some items are too expensive for what they are - e.g. 20 gems to add time to the end of a failed level? That’s way too much - I’d be surprised if any player would even bother. I feel like dropping the 0 off the end and making it 2 gems would be much more realistic, even having the option to watch an ad to get this, same as you can at the end of the food truck levels. Some of the prices for upgrades between both coins and gems is crazy high too and off-putting upgrading any further. I also think 6 gems for upgrading a character at a certain level is quite steep.- I’m not a huge fan of the grocery points to play levels, but I do like how quickly they regenerate compared to some other games with a similar technique.
Gem system needs major improvement

A very addicting game. The story is fun to follow and the userface is easy to learn. It's very heavy on gems for upgrades, but the upgrades don't always reflect in the cost. E.g. upgrading the soup price from $1 to $2 shouldn't cost 600 coins and 1 gem. Upgrading pie with cream from $2 to $4 shouldn't cost $900 and 4 gems (And that isn't even the final upgrade.) The first upgrade shouldn't cost any gems at all; maybe the third and fourth upgrade should cost gems. Upgrading characters is wasteful as you need to upgrade them for each building you play through. I bought one of the $16 gem packs, but it's not worth it in relation to these upgrades, where you need at least 2000 gems (a gross but likely realistic estimate) for EACH building or chapter group to make any progression. The rewards don't really feel like rewards when you see how many gems you need for upgrades; a little reward pig could have... three gems! But surprise, you need 11 to upgrade to pass ten levels, but then you'll need another 50 to make it past the next ten. Making it easier to buy gems with coins (not 2 free ones every 8 hours) would be better. The external opportunities to earn gems are also not worth it, and the options that don't include buying items literally take hours to answer for 3 gems. More options to watch ads (with a set limit a day) to a) earn more gems, b) help towards upgrades, and c) an option to continue playing at game over, d) to earn 10 more grocery points, would be preferred. Lastly, items/upgrades in the shop that you can't afford should be greyed out. If you can't afford anything in the shop, it shouldn't open at all at the end of the level. There's no point in a "tip" saying "you could have earned more coins if you had this!" Well yes, except i can't afford to buy the upgrade.... Overall very addictive but needs some major tweaks to make it work like a game and less like a bill payment.
Great gameplay but limited time events are too frequent
Orange Magpie
As per title, love the fast paced gameplay and the decoration options and the little storylines. However, we only can get around 10 gems a day even if we play frequently, and all of them get spent on limited time events so the main level progression is non-existent. We should either get more gems per day or limited time events should use different sets of gems. Very happy you've fixed the glitch where the game always freezes up near Trout of This World. Also it would be very helpful to have a map and navigate to each location easily without having to scroll for a whole minute. It would also be good if the location shifts to the main level restaurants when we tap the triangle in the corner (just like limited time events). Thanks
Fun game, but slow progression

You start out all guns blazing, everything goes great, then suddenly you hit a paywall and you’re lucky to pass a level every two days. It’s a great game and a lot of fun, but there’s such a huge number of upgrades required and simply not enough resources to get them.I’m happy to throw a few bucks at a game if I like it, but even that wouldn’t be enough to advance here. You’d have to be dropping some serious cash just to pass a few levels, then be stuck again! For example, $35 would get me the 250 gems, just enough to make the most basic upgrades I need right now and get a handful of boosts. I’d also need to drop $17 on coins because you need both gems and coins to upgrade. Then just a few levels later, I’d need even more upgrades. Playing without spending gives you maybe five gems a day if you’re lucky. The ‘free offers’ where you complete a tedious quiz or install a game in exchange for gems are a scam - it claims “your gems will be in your mailbox soon” but they never appear.
