As a person that has annotated the web, with tools like hypothes.is, and has used Obsidian as his personal knowledge vault, this is godsent. The flexibility in which you can bookmark and annotate is astounding. Creating templates, manipulating the metadata (and the extension even pulls in metadata from the website for you!), so that the imported url gets imported in a structured manner, is what this extension provides. Hats off to the Obsidian team for their great and ongoing work!
You can now customize the Reader experience to your liking with settings for:
- Typography, fonts, line height and width
- Themes, light/dark appearance
- Custom CSS
