Gaffer is a simple, no-nonsense job management app built specifically for self-employed tradesmen and small trade businesses.
Whether you're a plumber, electrician, builder, decorator or any other tradesman, Gaffer helps you stay organised without the hassle of complicated
software. Everything works offline — no internet connection needed on site.
MANAGE YOUR CUSTOMERS
Store customer details including name, phone, email and full address. Tap to call, email or open their location in maps. Add notes against each
customer for things like access codes, parking info or preferences.
TRACK YOUR JOBS
Create jobs with a title, customer and site address. Track job status from open through to completed. Add detailed notes against each job to keep a
clear record of what was discussed, quoted or completed.
ATTACH PHOTOS AND FILES
Take photos on site or add them from your gallery — give each one a name so you can find it later. Attach documents like PDFs, certificates and
receipts to keep everything in one place. View files directly in the app.
WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE
All your data is stored locally on your device. No account needed and no internet required. Your customer information and job records never leave your
phone unless you choose to export them.
EXPORT AND IMPORT YOUR DATA
Back up your data as a JSON file and your photos as a ZIP file. Save them to Google Drive, iCloud or email them to yourself. When you get a new phone,
import everything back in — the app automatically matches your photos to the correct jobs.
DARK MODE
Switch between light and dark themes to suit your preference.
Gaffer is designed to be fast, straightforward and respectful of your privacy. No ads, no tracking of your business data, no cloud accounts to manage.

Gaffer requires a subscription to use. A free trial is available so you can try it before you commit.
Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings > Subscriptions.
