The app is good. However from my personal experienc, Payment and verification are completed, yet the system still flags a billing issue. Chat Support confirmed I can’t apply for jobs or onboard until it’s fixed, even though billing details are verified. I’m paying for a subscription that restricts me from applying for any job. Technical support is only available to freelancers with active contracts — but how can I get one if I can’t even apply? I’ve been following up since 6th October 2025 with zero response or progress. Extremely poor service with no real support for new freelancers. Not recommended.

Upwork was a nice chanel but i dont know why they have always problem in verifying Pakistan Freelancers. If you people cannot accept Ny freelancer from Pakistan’ u should better terminate ur website from our country. It doesnt make sense to get suspended all time & no proper customer support to regain access for the account. Seems like all the people on this platform posting fake history & earnings. How come we work when always suspended. Superb frustrated with the name upwork. It has to be clown-work!
App doesn’t have basic functionality

As an app developer one should expect more from a platform like upwork. There app has poorly build messages module. Not only that its slow to update but it never or very rarely sends a notification when a client sends a message. I believe on of the points of the app is to make communication fast but its the opposite of that.
