The negative reviews are very unfair and biased. One person says he can’t transfer money. But i can. Just because he/she doesn’t know how to transfer, they give 1 star. Very ignorant users. Jom pay is so easy to use and convenient. No extra charges. The utilities gave options to pay their bills. Got other ways but have to go to the company’s website and pay using bank transfer and other means of payment. No one is forcing anyone to use Jom Pay. Even though it’s the easiest way to pay bills. Why use a longer way to pay bills? Jom pay after set up and save then in 1 minute can pay bills. I like this app and I understand it takes time to perfect this banking app in order to protect our money.

As CIMB staff, I’m proud to see the development and launch of OCTO app. It’s a great improvement from previous CIMB Clicks platform, with fresher, more modern interface and better user experience overall. The dashboard is more intuitive, and quick access to essential features like fund transfers, bill payments, and account overviews is very helpful!There’s always room for improvement. Some features from CIMB Clicks are still missing or not fully integrated, and few users have reported difficulty navigating certain functions. I believe with future updates, these can be resolved.

Inappropriate Ad Placement After QR Payment

I would like to formally raise a concern regarding the advertisement pop-up that appears immediately after completing a QR payment.The timing is highly inappropriate. Right after making a payment, users typically need to show the receipt to the seller as proof of transaction. However, the pop-up advertisement blocks or delays the receipt screen, causing unnecessary confusion and awkwardness.This has resulted in situations where sellers assume the payment was not successfully made because the receipt is not instantly visible. It is embarrassing and reflects poorly on the user, despite the transaction being completed.A banking app should prioritize seamless transaction confirmation, especially at critical moments like payment verification. Advertisements should not interfere with essential financial functions.I strongly urge CIMB to reconsider the placement and timing of these ads to improve user experience and maintain professionalism.
