February Update: • Many new HSK1 lessons We’ve added a large batch of new lessons for HSK1, covering key topics such as Chinese names, country names, demonyms and languages, pronunciation rules, complementary pronunciation pairs, and much more. If you’re studying HSK1, make sure to check the updated lesson list and explore all the new content now available. • Native audio in lessons Many words and example sentences in these new lessons now include native audio, recorded by our own team. This will help you improve your listening skills and get used to real pronunciation. We’ll soon start adding audio to more lessons across the app. • New non-HSK content We’ve added around 20 new relevant non-HSK words, along with a few additional example sentences, to help you expand your vocabulary beyond the official lists. • Content fixes and improvements As always, Bingo has taken care of fixing all those small issues thanks to your reports and suggestions. January Update • HSK 3.0 changes coming in 2026 The HSK is evolving again this year. We’ve added a new FAQ to help you understand how word lists, textbooks and official exams will change with the upcoming HSK 3.0 update. You’ll also be able to study the new HSK 3.0 vocabulary directly in the app very soon. • 121 new example sentences for HSK1 We’ve added 121 new example sentences to HSK1, all with native audio. This will help you practice each word in a real and natural context, improving both listening and comprehension. • New videos in HSK1 lessons Some HSK1 lessons now include short and clear videos to make explanations easier to follow. We’ll continue adding videos to the most important lessons over time. • New HSK1 lessons New lessons are now available in HSK1, including topics like the sound ü, how to express location with 在 and 有, and different uses of the verb 看. With the PRO plan, you can access these lessons from any level. • Audio improvements and content fixes We’ve added native audio to all non-HSK words and to the Radicals section. We’ve also corrected the pronunciation of several words and sentences, and applied all the suggestions and reports we received.

October update – Smoother experience and exciting improvements! • New HSK1 v2.0 flashcard images The HSK1 v2.0 flashcards have been revamped with more expressive and beautiful illustrations that better represent the meaning of each word. We’ve also updated the flashcards you reported, and polished the visual style in all flashcard games. • Hanzi Writing Game improvements You can now choose between four writing styles: marker, fine brush, bamboo, and Chinese ink. The eye button also hides the word now, for a more challenging experience. A new help button has been added to show the next hanzi to write. And you can start writing immediately, without waiting for the stroke animation to finish. • Content and overall polish As always, Bingo has applied your reports and suggestions. September Update – Another boost to kick off the school year! Board Game now works better with your custom lists • You were absolutely right: if you're practicing with your own custom list, it makes way more sense that all the words in each round come from that list. From now on, that's exactly how it works in both Board Game and Flashcard Pair Game. If your list has fewer than 6 words, random words will be added (from the same level or mixed depending on your list). Even more improvements! • The stroke checker now correctly highlights the stroke you got wrong. Bingo went on vacation and left an AI in charge… but that didn’t go so well. • On macOS, both voice search in the dictionary and the Pronunciation Game now work! Just keep in mind: mic access is slower than on iPhone/iPad, so it might feel a bit less snappy. Bingo is still polishing the content We’ve fixed small translation issues and improved some phrases thanks to your awesome reports. Keep them coming!
