- Added the option to edit the default set of chords that will be added to the chord palette when creating a new song. The default chord list (in the key of C major) is C, Dm, Em, F, G, Am, Bdim. The option to edit this list is found in SongSheet's "Song Editing" settings. - iPad: Increased the default size for the file import browser on iPadOS 26. - Improved the algorithm for transposing chords when changing the capo. - The song editor chord palette sorting now takes into account capo as well as the current key. - Fixed an issue where the chord editor would not highlight the selected note for a chord if it was modified with sharp or flat. - Fixed a crash in the song editor that could occur when deleting text after an auto-correction was applied. - Fixed saving the specified song key and capo when using OCR during a scanned document import. - Fixed various issues around the song editor re-scrolling to the current caret location when interacting with other parts of the song.

Song Library - You can now choose separately whether to show artist name, key, capo, tempo and song duration in your song lists. Document Scanning - When importing with the document scanner, SongSheet Pro now automatically detects song metadata in the scanned lyrics. - Optionally choose to convert a scanned document to text format in the import preview. Song Editing - You can now change the capo directly in the song viewer, even when you’re not in edit mode. - New setting to show or hide the capo when viewing a song, if no capo has been set. - The time signature picker now supports anything from 1/1 through to 16/64. - Time signature is now optional for songs. - Tempo can now be set by typing a value as well as using the slider. - A song’s key is now only shown if you’ve explicitly set one (it no longer defaults to C major). - Added a button to clear the song key in the set key/transpose popover. - If a song has no key set, tapping “Set key” will now try to guess the key from the chords and suggest it in the selector. - You can now edit tempo, time signature, capo, year and copyright in the metadata editor, including for PDF, RTF and Word files. - Choosing a song key in the metadata editor now happens in a popover. - Chords in the chord palette are now ordered according to the current key. - Transposing between keys now chooses chord names and modifiers (sharp, flat, etc.) more musically, based on their position in the key. - Transposed chords can now use double-flat or double-sharp modifiers. When exporting such songs to formats like ChordPro, these are automatically simplified to enharmonic equivalents. - Added initial support for Nashville Number chords (for example “1”, “#3”, “b5”, “1/3”). The chord editor doesn’t yet offer tools for building these directly, but custom chord names entered in the correct format will be recognised as Nashville Number chords.

Song Editor - Reintroduced dragging to reorder stanzas in a song, and made it easier to activate - now just long press anywhere in the stanza to begin the drag operation. - Chord palette entries now require a long press instead of double-tap in order to show the edit/delete menu for a chord. - Tapping to select a chord no longer automatically shows the chord cut/copy/delete actions. A second tap on the selected chord now shows these actions in a context menu. - Updated the style of the choose stanza and line type menus. - Fixed moving selected chord left/right using cursor keys in the song editor. - Fixed an issue that could cause the display of the song lyrics and chords to appear "squished" vertically when the length of the song was less than the height of the visible area. - Fixed various crashes that could occur while editing song text. Other changes - Made sure that the Choose Export Format dialog is always displayed in dark mode when a dark theme is active. - iPadOS 15-18: Fixed an issue with single-page PDFs that could prevent scrolling to see the top or bottom of the file. - iPadOS 15, 16: Fixed an issue with keyboard shortcuts/bluetooth pedal controls not always being available after initially displaying a song. - iPadOS 26: Fixed layout issues in various places. - iPad: Better handling on expanding the width of the song editor window so that the song editor remains the front-most view, rather than automatically showing the Library view. - iPhone: Added missing Library button to show the song list when phone is in landscape orientation.
