Twitch is where thousands of communities come together for our favorite streamers, for the games we love, for the lulz, for each other, for whatever. Download Twitch and join millions enjoying live games, music, sports, esports, podcasts, cooking shows, IRL streams, and whatever else crosses our community’s wonderfully absurd minds. We’ll see you in chat.
Here’s a convenient list of other awesome things about Twitch:
Everyone is “about” community. We actually are one: Whatever you nerd out about, you can find your people on Twitch.
Give support, get support: Find new streamers and subscribe to your favorites. Plus, unlock exclusive perks for your support.
Start your own channel: The Twitch app is one of the easiest ways to start streaming. Just create an account, go live directly from the app, and bring people together around whatever you’re passionate about.
You never know what you’ll find: Popular games are always live, but so are music festivals, rocket launches, street tours of Tokyo, and goat yoga. Yes, really.
Dark mode: Y’all love this one. Black and purple have never looked this good together.

While we love watching live streams of our favourite games, there’s more than meets the eye. Try the many live animal cams – and even a whole channel dedicated to “happy little trees” painter Bob Ross.
The banner is too large in fullscreen mode
crafting post
Twitch, why did you make such a huge channel banner in fullscreen mode? It’s quite annoying. I’d understand if it were minimalistic, but right now it’s half empty and takes up unnecessary space. Also, when you pause the video, the banner could behave normally instead of staying half-empty. Sometimes I want to see some text or details from the video, but the banner makes it difficult. I can’t properly see it when paused without hiding the banner. Can this be changed?
ItOkay, just not for probably the biggest streaming platform
Repetitious Avocado Seed
Big delay of the streams ( compared to desktop version), poor chat experience (hotbox of a name is little bit small to just make a single tap for a mention, pm etc), not rational usage of screen space when chat is opened (there’s black space on the left that could be potentially used for the video minimizing chat/video overlapping), no options for moving chat to other side of the screen, bits aren’t purchasable on mobile and you don’t get proper explanation why, chat only option is useless because a lot of space is still left unused for it (essentially there’s no difference between so called audio only and chat only options - aside from that chat only stops the audio, in both modes chat occupies exactly the same space)
Interface
HekT0r
Yesterday Twitch has been updated and interface of following channels become bigger, before it was like a list. It’s definitely not comfortable, please turn back as it was.
