The Book Tracker experience on Apple Watch has been fully redesigned to feel more fluid, native, and right at home on your wrist.
Book Tracker now supports all available Apple Watch widgets and complications, compatible with any watch face.
Two modes are available:
* Automatic: the widget updates on its own. If a reading timer is active, it shows the current book with a live timer. When you're not reading, it shows the next book in your reading list. A tap takes you straight to the timer or the book's detail page.
* Manual: choose which book to display from your currently reading list. Once selected, it works just like Automatic mode.

This is the first major update of the year for Book Tracker. It introduces several new features, along with a number of improvements and fixes that make the app more stable and enjoyable to use. Below you’ll find the full list of what’s new.
NEW FEATURES
* You can now personalize the Home on iPhone and the Sidebar on iPad and Mac. In addition to the standard sections, you can add new cards at the top and choose from tags, smart lists, series, reading statuses, and more. Just tap the Edit button to get started.
* The camera barcode scanning screen has been completely redesigned. Scanning and focus are now significantly faster, and multiple barcode scanning is now available on Mac and on older iPhone and iPad models, a feature that was previously limited to newer devices only.
* You can now select historical, no longer in use currencies when entering a book’s purchase price, such as the Italian lira, the German mark, and many others.
* When reading a book, an estimate of the completion date is now given
IMPROVEMENTS
* Improved online cover search when editing a book: more results are now shown, making it easier to choose the cover that best matches the edition you’re editing.
* Improved online search results, with more relevant matches when searching for books by title or author.
* Improved scrollable views to prevent unexpected position jumps when returning to the app from the background or when closing other screens, resulting in a more stable UI experience.
* The calendar that shows the books read every day now shows more than one cover if you read more books on the same day
* Added the ability to change the length of a book or convert the tracking type of a reading status
* The Borrowed section has been renamed to Not Owned to better represent all books that are not part of your personal library, such as borrowed books, library books, or books you no longer own. The new name is clearer and better reflects all these use cases.
FIXES
* Improvements to the statistics widget, which did not allow the correct display of information in some circumstances
* Fixed a problem that made the progress bar of the readings grey
* Fixed an issue that prevented the correct calculation of reading streaks in the statistics widget
