It’s very bad, they just add events to make sound exciting but in reality it is not. They have no solutions to deal with bad ransoms. They have no solution for tournaments as in the user with less than 25k trophies always gets 1 st place due to matchmaking. It is nothing like before which was not pay to win. Atleast they used to give one hypercharge skin guaranteed now that’s gone its all “luck” base. They have very bad game modes. The maps have changed are so bad. The maps brawler specific that you can’t enjoy playing other brawlers. They release new brawlers for money buff it at the start when they brawler an be unlocked for free to play players they nerf its so bad that’s its in usable. Please don’t play this game unless you’re a kid. Game is not mature and fun or exciting.

Ive been playing for more than 4 years now. The game used to be good, but then they made the claim that they’re removing all “randomness” from the game by removing boxes. Then they add gatcha after gatcha, whether they be monster eggs, presents, starr drops, ranked starr drops or even the krusty krab meals. All they do is release event after event and ONLY target new players. They give them “FREE EDGAR!!!!”, “No matchmaking based on total trophies so us 45K players have to play with a 700 trophy account edgar” and they completely ignore committed players. Well supercell- I am letting you know- ITS NOT THE SAME. People joining the game when it’s famous because of events should not be treated the same as someone who was dedicated. Sure, you can add as many paid stuff that new players can spend but just remember- eventually your event spam will stop working and you’ll lose the precious money that you care about so much that EVERY dedicated players will have left because of your actions. It happened to clash royale already and it’s gonna happen to you. Just because drew ran from clash royale doesn’t mean we forgot what him and his team did there and whats happening here. Good job you just lost another one of your most dedicated and long-time OG players and im only one of many.

I have been playing this for over 5 years. Unfortunately, this game is done now. There is no more balance in the game. Hypercharges have broken the game as they are way too powerful. And you need a ton of gems/coins to get them. As an F2P player, i enjoyed playingbthis game before but now with the capitalist greed of supercell, changing brawl pass from gems to money was bad too. But the worst part is the matchmaking. I HAVE BEVER EVER COME ACROSS SUCH HORRIBLE MATCHMAKING Dont get me wrong, matchmaking has been bad since wuite some time and i was hoping they would work on it. But when you see the current situation of the game, you ll realise that supercell just doesnt care anymore about it. They have the labor and money to push updates every other month with brand new brawlers, hypercharges, skins etc yet there has been ZERO improvement with balancing the game and improving matchmaking. All this game does now is frustrate me whenever you play. There will be ATLEAST ONE PLAYER in your team who is gonna sabotage you. Bots have taken over the game. Hackers are a menace. You can be an excellent player yet you ll lose most games coz ur teammate(s) wont do anything (except make sure you lose the game with them)

Having seen brawl stars in its hey-day, it is extremely disheartening to see this game become an overly milked cash cow by supercell. What used to be player friendly and fun is now just begging for money at every turn. Their updates no longer feel like improvements but just more way to twist and turn this cash cow. And the worst concept of them all, stickers and pins. Really supercell? Who cares about these? What happened to the old days where we got brawl boxes and actual loot from them. And the innovation on the brawlers has just saturated with each additional brawler appearing like a pokemon evolution of an existing one. I get it that its hard to introduce brawlers at each turn so this can be allowed to slide. However, today, it is quite hard to make cash in this game which seems too focused at throwing a billion pins and power points for upgrades (but not coins) at your face.
