I downloaded this app for a family member, in the recommendation of another recovering gambling addict. I am so disappointed that this app doesn't work. I have to re-download the profile onto the phone at least once every week, if not more. How is somebody meant to rely on this app or use it as a tool in their recovery when the app needs to be monitored so much. I am disgusted that I spent €30 on this app that is so extremely unreliable. For practicality, the app deserves 0 stars as it is no help at all when it has to be reinstated so often.

Hi, due to recent changes in newer iOS versions, Apple devices no longer support password-protected profiles. Our team is continually striving to make the application harder to remove, but we are limited by the constraints of the restrictive Apple iOS. We would also like to inform you that we are currently developing a new methodology for iOS, which will make the removal process significantly more difficult. Although we are still in the development stages, we are unable to predict how long it may take us to release the update. Please rest assured that we will keep you informed on our progress. In the meantime, we recommend using Gamban alongside bank transaction blocking, if your bank offers this feature. Additionally, consider registering with self-exclusion programmes available in your region, which can help prevent access to online gambling sites.
