I love this game! The animation is fantastic and I love how the animals move like the real thing. It has been well thought out. The people, when you are helping your friends, look a little scary - my little boy asked why their eyes are black. Now, like almost every other review, the issue with the game is the cost. I have another simulated game that I have been playing for over three years that doesn’t cost as much to play. Furthermore, on that game, you can earn several gems per day which means eventually you can get the things you want. On this one, at the minute, I would need 300 diamonds to buy land, 120 to buy a kiosk and over 100 to increase my breeding slots. I cannot warrant spending £50 a time on a game that I play on my iPad; it is jus too much money, whether or not I can afford it. If the game developers decide to stop updating the game, it’s dead money. Also, isn’t it interesting that the only response from the developers to any of the reviews, is to one about game play. They have not responded to anyone about the cost of diamonds or the ability to earn them more quickly. Come on developers; people clearly love this game but you are going to lose people if they can’t warrant spending or afford to spend their hard earned cash. A tenner here or there isn’t so bad, but this would require regular injections of cash to keep playing. Can’t you add an easier way to earn diamonds? Or make it possible to buy more items and land with coins rather than diamonds?
We reply here plenty of times 🙂 Zoo 2: Animal Park depends on Diamond purchases to cover the cost of developing, maintaining and supporting the game, so we do want there to be enough incentives to buy Diamonds. Since earning Coins becomes a fair bit easier later on in the game, it would be way to easy to get all the Diamonds you could ever want by exchanging Coins for them. That being said, there are a number of ways to get Diamonds in Zoo 2: Animal Park:- The monthly reward calendar can give you Diamonds. If you've already collected the 25 rewards for the given month, you will get 1 Diamond every day for the rest of the month.- Leveling up grants you Diamonds. Regular levels give one each; levels that end in 5 give 5 Diamonds, and "round" level-ups give the number of the level in Diamonds (for example, you get 30 Diamonds for reaching level 30)- There are a number of quests that give Diamonds.- You can watch ads to earn Diamonds with the screen by the entrance. You get a Diamond for every 10 videos and can earn up to two every day.- Of course, you can always purchase Diamonds for real money to support the game (the game being free to play, we rely on the money from Diamond purchases to develop, maintain and host the game). Larger bundles give more bang for your buck, and also include bonus animals for you :)Don't forget - you can get almost anything that costs Diamonds through the puzzle piece system. The only big exceptions are staff and some expansions. You can trade puzzle pieces you don't need for tickets, which in turn can be used to complete items you do want.Don't hesitate to contact us with any other questions and concerns.Have a great day!
