Absolutely love the game, and have since I started playing as soon as it came out on PS4. However one small issue I have encountered is that I cannot access all my mountable flags (may be referred to as Jacks or colours). I regularly fly different flags to mark different occasions, and as I cannot access all of my colours I cannot mount them for specific events when on the move, I have to log onto my play station to remount the early adopters jack after using any of my other colours and flags that I can access. Other than that, I love the game and look forward to ruling the waves on the move.

That you spend money buying premium in the hope that the grind would be a little easier, but the reality is that even when you purchase premium the higher tier ships drain your capital with a cost to use them far exceeding any reward for winning a match with them. It’s shameful that to enjoy the ships you spend real money on and valuable time to grind, unlock and upgrade only to see your credits disappear more and more after every successful match. This is not an issue with the lower tier ships as you earn more credits using the lower tier ships than you do for the higher tier ships. I use to play this game on Xbox and never noticed this issue. Maybe it a mobile thing or a greedy cash grab. Nevertheless although I don’t mind spending money to try to enjoy the game I do mind getting ripped off for my time. There needs to be a better balance for the economy rewarding us for our time and money. At the moment I will not spend anymore money until I know that this real issue is resolved.

This is very close to the experience you get on console, and to be fair they’ve done a fantastic job bringing it to handheld devices. The touch screen controls are very responsive, and the graphics aren’t far off either. Controller support should arrive in time.I’ve been playing this for 5+ years, since pre release on console. It’s essentially a rock paper scissors tactical arcade team shooter, involving warships from just before to just after the two Great 20th century wars. From that promise, it’s a 5/5 game and genuinely great fun.Most of the well known warships are are here to either unlock or buy.. Hood, Bismarck, Yamato Iowa’s etc.. to name just a few, I have well over 400 myself, and still have many more to get.Unfortunately for reasons I’ll never understand, CV’s got shoehorned in about a year into the game’s lifespan, since then it’s been a slow gradual decline, they’ve essentially broken the games core mechanics, getting focused by them is incredibly frustrating, for the simple reason, there’s absolutely nothing you can do other than hope they go after someone else before you inevitably get destroyed, or hope they somehow get spotted themselves. Up until this update, most players rejected them entirely (myself included) but this update they’ve doubled down on them, buffing them to extreme levels in an attempt to entice more players to play them.. and it’s not pretty. It’s like kids playing Rock Paper Scissors, and someone joins in and punches you all in the twig and berries before claiming they’re the winner.So unfortunately that’s me done with this game now. 2/5
