I have been playing virtual families for a while from 1 to 3 and love the virtual villages series as well and I love love the idea of communities that they added! It’s really cool how you can check in on you’re friends and build a neighbourhood which you couldn’t in previous games- also money is easier to earn than before & you’re little family lasts longer which is makes it more fun to play. I have noticed some bugs - one - is that on the family tree the icons stay as a baby even when the child is grown although you still get the baby to toddler image, two- when moving onto another generation my child from before (green eyed) had red eyes!! Three- after placing furniture the one that I last put down still glows blue even after I finish renovating. I also am a bit confused of the plot - I know in VF3 there was a ghost story but on this one there doesn’t seem to be much of narrative just random bits of your family talking about cleaning when you draw them to different objects ? Not sure if I missed a step! I also think there should be more instruction/ guidance because I have no idea how to unlock the furniture with “fertilised grass” or “river fence”! Plus alot of the daily & weekly goals are about contests and voting but I have no idea where this is! & the messages from my family never count towards the goal of reading 3 messages (in the daily bit). However, overall is a great game I’m glad my children are no longer twins of their parents but more of mix ! The fact they can be married off and have children of their own that you can continue with was a really nice detail too. The only other things I would say is bring back the gardeners and maids from VF2 (because I’m too lazy to clean every time ), add more careers, pets and more daily events ! Overall Really nice game thanks LDW !! My new fave 🫶 x

So I like why your family goes on forever and ever but I wish they aged every day because I keep finding that when I go to play a different game I come back and they are like older and that stresses me out a bit because I don’t want to say start again do you know what I mean, next thing i wish that it was easier to earn more money and level up their jobs easier, other than that the game is totally amazing 🤩 thxs for reading it

I’ve played all the virtual family games and this was similar to the original. It was fun trying to build a family,building their home, upgrading your home and the concept of community building. But when you are ready for your 3rd house upgrade…it becomes so expensive that you are forced to buy their coin package. So if you’re like me who plays for free and never spends real money on virtual games…you’re stuck. You can watch all the ads you want but as soon as you gain 2300 coins and up. Disaster or their so called Outage starts meaning a household appliance breaks, ant hills form and even furniture gets possessed by evil spirits and the build mode is unusable. Your opinions are either hire a specialist which would cost you 1400 coins in your first house and by the time you get your 2nd house it bumps up to 2400 coins. Another option is to fix it yourself but by then your little adult family members are either too sad, too tired or too hungry to fix the outage. Then of course, all the coins you saved watching ads are gone. Secondly, when you have saved up coins from ads…lo and behold…your little family members gets sick. You send them to the doctor which costs 250 coins per visit then they come home still feeling sick. A hospital visit costs 480 coins per visit but it doesn’t guarantee they will be cured. So now, I’m stuck in this level in the game and can’t move forward which is frustrating. So beware … this is a money grab game. DO NOT WASTE your time and effort on this game. There are LOTS of other games out there… if you really like this game. Go for the older versions

I’ve played every game by LDW. I’ve enjoyed every single one, and I was so excited when I saw this one. However, the game is bad. Really, really bad. It’s not a game. You can’t do anything unless you pay real money or watch hundreds (and I mean that literally) of ads. The furniture is buggy, sometimes it doesn’t place correctly. You can’t put items on top of other items. You can’t change peeps names, there is a limit on how many children you can have. Barely any of the regular functions from other games have been brought into this one. The layout for the furniture catalog is abysmal. This game is a serious let down and I’m so disappointed, don’t waste your time.
