This game has a great storyline and great characters - you totally ship Nora and Mike! - and it’s massive fun to progress through the cases. Graphics are lovely, too, and the in-between games comprise the things you’re used to from other such games but with the occasional interesting difference. Plus they only asked me once to do a review, at the beginning, and I said no then as it was too early, and they hadn’t since! So I thought I’d reward that 😀They have strange ideas about which levels are hard and which aren’t, though. I usually breeze through a so-called hard level and then spend forever on a so-called normal one 😀

I’ve only just started playing this game and already I love everything about it! Download it folks you’ll love it!Sadly I’ve had to knock off a couple of stars as I’ve got to level 69 and cannot get any further, this level is not just super hard it’s pretty much impossible unless you have money to throw at it get what you need to buy boosters. So not only have I not even managed to complete the first case because of this stupidity on the part of the developers, but the game is now deleted which is a huge shame cos it is a great game . Or was until I reached this totally impossible level.

The whole hearts thing I’m fine with. They’re actually fairly generous with the infinite boosts too if you feel like playing for a while. It’s a fun story though sometimes a little far fetched.The issues I have are some levels are designed poorly. Some rely on you getting specific power ups or you fail, or using paid boosts to get through, or an infinite life event to try 100 times. A level is poor if it’s constantly saying “No moves available, reshuffling” or whatever. However what’s drawn me to this review is this -I’m on level 3040 - that level is bugged. It asks you to unlock 2 parts, one with 15 red, then 15 pink. I get the reds done, but matching and clearing pink doesn’t reduce the counter so the level is impossible to clear. Not even power ups will fix that. It just doesn’t reduce from 15 when you clear pinks. Fix that please. I’ve been patient. I’m past level 3000… but this is game breaking and I cannot continue…

Engaging characters and stories, but it’s so slow to get anywhere. I’m on case 6, level 668 and I’m about ready to give up because I’m bored. It takes so long to complete a board and you may have to do lots of them for one trivial conversation. There’s no input from the player and no detective work. Even power ups don’t help much and it’s not worth spending money on them. Play for a week or two and then play something else.
