The story of Emily from Merge Matters is a mysterious one. Emily, her husband Oscar, and their 6-months old son Oliver were enjoying family life, until something weird happened. The couple received a letter with no return address, which was followed by Oscar’s disappearance.
Now, Emily and her son are all alone in her villa. To find clues about her husband’s disappearance, she has to carry out home restoration and fix everything that’s broken. They just moved in recently, so there is a lot to repair!
In an effort to help Emily find her husband, you have to clean up the building, reorganize it, and fix broken things, from faucets and electricity to furniture. Throughout the game, you will meet Emily’s parents, bankers, and detectives. New evidence regarding Oscar’s disappearance will unravel as the game progresses. Restore the house and find new evidence to help Emily reconnect with her husband.

Played another merge game and gave up because of what is happening in Merge Matters now as well. At first everything was perfect, very different from the other merge game I played. Because of all the things I am mentioning below, the time spent when playing the game has reduced dramatically, because I can rarely complete a task. When tapping a box to get items, the amount of items that get out of the box has diminished dramatically. Of a while ago I managed to get, say, 15 items when tapping something, now I get 10 or less and have to wait again God knows how much time for the item to recharge. And another issue: when you merge items to the max level, you would say you’ll get more items out of it but it’s the opposite. It takes an outrageous amount of time (weeks) to merge an item to it’s max level only to get a single item out of it. There was a time when every task I had, involved merging things in order to make furniture (different sofas/couches, chairs) It took more than a month to complete all of them.

I loved this game at first. Good graphics and achievable quests. But then it started getting a bit ridiculous. I’ve had 5-6 quests pending that all have very high level items and I’ve been playing several times a day for weeks and still haven’t completed anything because 1) the items are so high level they take forever to match or 2) the drops of the things I need just aren’t dropping. For example the detergents… I can go for 2 days without getting any soap to drop. And when it does I get one. So this will take me the rest of the summer to complete at this rate. I’m thinking of deleting the app because it’s just not enjoyable anymore. Hopefully the devs will read all these similar reviews and sort this out. I did occasionally buy gems because I was enjoying it and happy to pay to keep advancing but now I’ve stopped buying because it feels like there’s no point.

I really liked this game to start with, there were lots of things to do, the daily to do list was fun and could be completed with energy left over to do other jobs on the house, then you upgrade your generators and expect more items, but nope, you get less and less. The bonus games are ok for a change, but you only ever benefit from the Green house. The others ie, the food stalls and the craft ones are not really worth doing, so despite a trillion ads to get free stuff I have enjoyed playing.Yesterday my free button faded out and now if I want to get free stuff I have to use the gems I have collected, so not really free!! 😡the daily free spin is one rubbish spin and then you press the free button (now not working) and then there is the option of using gems, 10 of them for a spin and it’s usually money, I have never had the jackpot despite playing every day for eons ☹️just 50 or a 100 coins, it’s pretty poor rewards. So do yourself a favour and find a better more generous game. It really has gone so disappointing.

This game is okay as far as merge games go, it has nice graphics and a sweet storyline. However the longer I play it the more frustrated I am getting. I’ve noticed that once you have a certain item in the your task list, it then stops dropping as frequently. Now this could just be from the regular updates tweaking things which is fine, but what really irritated me after weeks of trying to collect and merge a box of nails, the game updated and this is no longer on my task list. So I’ve spent weeks trying to these nails, and for nothing. Instead it’s been replaced with something from the cleaning cart, and don’t you know it, it’s not dropping as frequently as before. I’ll probably keep dipping into the game, but it’s really got some ways to go before it’s considered a favourite of mine.
