I have played this game on PC where I absolutely loved it and saw this on mobile and was super excited for a more portable option. However, when I downloaded the app, I was unable to play it or even close the pop ups. This meant I couldn’t actually play the game, but since I think this could just be a problem for my device, I think it would be unfair to penalise a game as good as this for such a personal reason such as my own.

While the game has little to do with the popular roleplaying game, it does use the settings and character designs in an innovative way.The gameplay is simply to learn, tap the screen and kill enemies, but has a lot of depth with different party formations and character skills working both for and against each other, making finding the right combination of both party members and positioning key to success on higher levels.The loot grind is quite harsh, with equipment being very sparsely available through free play, however the items gathered tend to provide only small buffs in gameplay, meaning that free playing isn’t in any way unfair and missions can be completed with just the characters available without purchase provided by completing certain campaign goals, without needing to equip them at all.In game tooltips provide detailed information on which skills do what, as well as letting you know what’s needed (more gold) in order to progress a character to their next level, unlocking more powerful abilities as you go.The store is clear and straightforward, with most meaningful purchases made with real world currency for packs which tell you exactly what you’ll be receiving for the amount of money being spent.There is also an in game currency, in the form of Crystals, but these can mainly be used to obtain ‘lootbox’ crates for extra rewards. The acquisition of Crystals through gameplay is rather meagre, with approximately 5-10 obtained for every boss defeated (which occur on every fifth level, in one form or another), and basic lootboxes costing 50 Crystals having little of value, and the more worthwhile crates costing 500. These makes decent rewards quite difficult to find, however as stated above the rewards usually only offer minor boosts to basic gameplay and so are easily skipped over, although do present meaningful enough rewards for those just playing the game and not seeking to be too actively rewarded.

Love this game even if it too small to read on iPhone.Being able to zoom a bit so I could read what chars can do would be good. Also timely updates as takes a little to be updated on the App Store so cannot play until updated!

As per title. I love this game so much and I’ve played for a long time on my PC. A phone version is such a great idea, perfect to play the game a bit once you’re on the go (especially since it is not really cross platform) but the UI is so small that makes it very difficult to play on my iPhone. 5 star because I don’t want to penalise the game per se, which I do love.
