I had been really excited for Glass to launch having followed its progress for the past year on social media. And the launch didn’t disappoint. Glass has proven to be a warm, friendly community full of engagement and absolutely packed with inspiration. So inspired have I been by viewing some of the work from others that I have just purchased my first digital camera in many years. I’m enjoying it as a hobby once again, especially now that there’s a place to share my photos with like minded amateurs and professionals alike. The app is beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Thank you, Glass, for making me fall in love with photography all over again 📷

Great product

The app is the product - not you and it is highly polished example of getting it right. I’ve brought my pictures across to this platform and away from the AI carnage of mainstream social media. It’s the only app I pay for other than tv and music. No bots, “influencers” or algorithms here - no obvious counters either, so the focus is on real engagement and everyone I have encountered on Glass are very decent people - and there is engagement, unlike other platforms that claim such but are probably just as bleak as Meta (who are shocking with all their creativity-choking algorithms, spam and AI generated content, so you can’t even see the posts u want to see). long live Glass (don’t change it devs lol!!)

We appreciate the support! Thank you!

Glass is a beautifully designed app and a refreshing alternative to Instagram et al. I love that Glass is focused on photography not followers.I feel that there should have been a slightly more complete feature set at launch, especially around discovery. But having said that I love that Glass have an open and transparent approach to their roadmap and feedback.I’m surprised to see reviews complaining about the price. Glass couldn’t be more upfront and clear that this is a paid app. If you want free Instagram is over there. But remember if you aren’t paying for the product you are the product.

We're committed to expanding our feature set and value your feedback on discovery improvements. Your understanding of our pricing model is greatly appreciated. We aim to offer a premium, ad-free experience and your support reinforces why we do what we do. Thank you for being a part of Glass.
In Glass 5.3 we’ve retired legacy API endpoints so the app now runs entirely on our latest, most reliable infrastructure.
This update also resolves UI issues introduced with Apple’s iOS 26.4 release, and corrects widget links so that corresponding images now open within the app.
