Great game once again by easy inc but again the same type of problems enemy generals being wayyy too OP forcing you to pretty much buy generals just to stay alive in conquest and in campaigns. I’ve pretty much played most easy inc games and again and again the same problem still is there with the enemy side pretty much concentrating on you 100% of the time even if you was playing the weaker country. The enemy would just send 99% of it’s forces to attack you and spam out generals like no tomorrow in conquest and campaign like I said earlier would target you even if you wasnt holding the objective etc. Hopefully some of the developers can see this and make it easier for us gamers to enjoy the really interesting game which 100% could be one of the best conquest series to play.

Hello!, I just wrote this review to say that whenever I play as a country in conquest, Britain for example. As soon as I land my men onto France’s beaches I have a full platoon of Spaniards with a Strong general coming toward my country, so I bring my men back to my country to defend and once I set up artillery to defend I finnally destroy there fleet but once I destroy there fleet I have been ridden of my army so I have to take turns getting my army bigger then as soon as I get it big and start to invade France (I am not kidding you these are all the countries) I get attacked by Spain, Netherlands, Denmark, France, oh and Sweden and I got absolutely destroyed so I decided to do it with a different country but it just always ends up the same, please add a surrender feature to if your invaded most of there country and it’s unlinkely they will end up winning Please just make it actually possible to do a CONQUEST other then a defend your country from the whole world But enough of me criticising the game it’s actually Really fun and you should download it and try out campaign while your at it also give the devs Support!!!

Overall a good game, specially for tacticians since it’s not like all the other strategy games where things are straight forward however...And that’s a big however... playing as Britain on the 1812 map I just wanted to reach Washington but these Americans are just crapping out Elite Infantry! Literally had almost 15 elite infantry units and their generals have some sort of invincibility thing- Scott literally couldn’t die so I let him through my blockade and let the Canadian take care of him. I’m pretty sure it took like 70 turns of relentless shooting to finally kill him! Then suddenly Robert E Lee pops out about 70 years too early and messes everything up for me! Then I tried to be the French and the Prussians literally anhilated me! Don’t think I’m just one of those people who thinks “oh ye atak with big gun ye” I actually look at each units stats before I attack and some how they end up winning! I know there is some chance but this is a bit too much rigging so I’ve lowered my rating by one star.

Bottom line: The developers have listened and changed the difficulty so that it’s actually possible to progress. My original review was 2 stars, now it’s 4! The game is finally at a good stage to buy. Any reviews written before the June 2018 update are right if they complain about terrible game balance. However, The developers have made some changes and as a result it’s possible to get further into the game. I haven’t played the full conquest through yet but the scenario games are playable, fights feel fairer and it’s more obvious what the mission ‘route’ for a victory is. The enemy still spawns infantry when defending its cities but as long as you plan for that with a spare cav unit to cap the city then it’s bearable. Daily missions generate in-game currency and those in for the long slog will be able to make progress over time. I bought the Napoleon and Bulcher premium generals and both of these feel much stronger due to the update.
