Loving this wee game. Turn based RPG at its best. 2 campaigns plus a treasure campaign make it hard to put down initially. However as it gets harder you ask for a friend or 10 and the vast community is only more than happy to loan you heroes that are far more superior to those you have, and thus you see what you can achieve, either by spending a few bob or by grinding them out! I chose to grind and it just made the game that more frustratingly addictive!Join a clan. Gain experience and level up. Leave the clan and join a more experienced one. Etc etc etc. It just keeps getting better. Updates are every few months or so but are worth the wait. PvP has only just been updated. This was badly needed. I’ll update this post once I know how the new battles are. All in all, if you like your RPG turn based with various factions and classes and abilities, you’ll do no wrong in getting this. Love it!
A true fantasy game with lots to explore

This game had me playing non stop. I could never get off of the app because the game just makes you keep playing. The immersive story about a mage is fun and really gives you something to do to pass the time. And don't even get started on the roster of amazing fantasy creatures that you will spend ages playing as. The game is honestly the younger brother to Raid Shadow Legends but still keeps those glorious game mechanics that make it special. This genre of game has been my favourite since I got my first ever RPG MMO on the xbox 360. Oh and speaking of consoles, this game has console like graphics. It looks so fresh that even the word fresh is surprised at how squeaky clean the game runs with the kind of graphics it has. This game really kept me playing for hours.This was my review, hope you have a nice day 🙂

I’ve played for a while now and reached the top lvl which is 100. Admittedly I do spend on certain events but it’s starting to annoy me. Each day you get a reward for completing daily tasks. Those rewards are 5-10k silver and xp. For someone that has been playing for years and is max level that’s like pouring a glass of water into the ocean as a reward for being around for a long time. The developers are obviously focused on rewarding new players and not loyal paying customers. Also, items needed for upgrading hero’s… players collect thousands of useless items that just sit there and there is hardly anything decent given in chests so upgrading hero’s is a ball busting drag. There are also levels in missions that are ‘coming soon’ which have been ‘coming soon’ forever it seems. Sort it out and try focusing on a better playing experience than grabbing money off new players all the timeTry focusing on loyal players and making the game enjoyable and not just a chore

As a turn based team play game with a lot to do, Age of Magic is excellent. They’re just a bit too transparent with their advancement choke points, e.g. specific loot pieces needed to advance equipment levels being mostly available through the market. It’s not impossible to progress but it definitely slows you down. There are some nitpicks such as the need to develop teams I’m uninterested in, in order to complete some portions of the game, but these are subjective. Overall I don’t mind kicking in a bit of money for hero and magic passes so they can afford to advance the game, but it can be a cash trap if you get impatient. But you can have a good experience with little to no money if you are patient and play your cards right.
