I like to browse for hotels on Google Maps because it shows prices from all major websites, plus making it convenient to pick the right location.But please don’t show me the prices based on where I’m located. At least give the option to customise the currency.If I’m in Indonesia and browsing for hotels in France, it’s impossible to make sense of the prices there because Indonesia’s currency is so hard to make sense of. Same with Lebanon and a lot of countries were exchange rates aren’t practical or easy to understand. It’s honestly frustrating. Prices should probably default to the user’s home currency because it’s the one they’re more familiar with.
