I am updating my review to suggest two critical features that would significantly enhance the user experience:1-Inline Selection Actions: Please add an "Ask Gemini" option to the text selection menu. Highlighting a specific part of a response should trigger a shortcut alongside "Copy" to ask follow-up questions directly about that segment. This is a standard feature in competing apps and would greatly reduce friction.2-Advanced Search in History: The current search functionality within old threads is highly inefficient. I suggest implementing a more robust, keyword-based search system that allows users to quickly locate specific information or past insights within long conversation histories.

Safety filters

I try to use Gemini for work, gym, and other personal things, and I always find the filters to be annoying, no matter how I say it. Why can't he explain what mitosis is for school, I really don't understand the problem with that. I try to use him to give me gym advise on how to use a machine, and again with the safety filters, its getting really annoying and out of hand. Overall on the filters though, it just needs to get fixed. Also, the voice option is annoying because it requires me to click it everytime rather than it just staying on, and the voice it has is so robotic its embarrassing to use, even when nobody is around. Gemini is good but it can be better.

Google Gemini is genuinely so bad to the point that I get so angry at it because it’s first of all it’s stupid and it doesn’t give me the right information and when I tell it to not do something it does it and for example it gave me like a (blackquote) this type of structure that I didn’t really like because I couldn’t really copy stuff from it, but it kept repeating, repeating, repeating, repeating, repeating and repeating it until I genuinely just told it to stop also it always like it has never ever not giving me a full piece of information until at least one thing and it is wrong . i hate it so much its a rage baiting app
