This update brings several performance and user interface improvements
2.4.2 27/11/2024
This update extends the batch resizer with the following features:
• High-quality upsampling option "AI enlargement"
• "Fit to box" resizing mode
In addition, it introduces a number of user interface improvements.
2.4.1 21/09/2024
This version introduces the high-quality image enlargement using AI.
AI enlargement takes more time than the regular upscaling algorithm. However, it achieves a much better output image quality. Recommended when enlarging images substantially.
AI enlargement is currently only available in the single image resizing mode. Configure the desired size (larger than the original), and select the "AI enlarge" upsampling option.
2.4 05/07/2024
• The user interface is now optimized for iPad in the landscape orientation.
• It is now possible to process images from Pasteboard. For example, copy an image to Pasteboard in Photos (Share -> "Copy Photo"), open iSize, and process a single image "From Pasteboard".
• Improved single image import from Photos.
• Your subscription information is now always available via Settings. You can easily manage your subscriptions at any time.
• Various user interface improvements.
• Fix a possible Batch Resizer failure with images added from Files.
2.3 14/02/2024
• The new horizon detection algorithm enables automatic straightening / horizon leveling. Both in the Crop & Straighten module, and inside the Resize module (when changing the aspect ratio by cropping, adjusting crop manually).
• The default JPEG and HEIC compression quality can now be defined by the user.
• Improve file naming of exported images.
• Minor user interface improvements
• Performance and stability improvements
• Fix some possible export issues.
2.2 04/02/2024
This major update introduces the following:
• The Batch Resize module can now load resizing settings from any preset.

• The Batch Resize module can now export resized images multiple times, in various ways.
• Improved error handling in the Resize (single image) module.
• Fix: processing sometimes failed for images in the Display P3 color space, e.g. screenshots.
2.1 25/10/2022
• Preserve the original image filename after cropping or transforming the image

• The straightening slider is now available when adjusting crop manually in the Resize module.
• Show a smaller grid when straightening using the slider in the Crop & Straighten module.
• Save the defined border color in the Batch Resize module.
• Minor user interface improvements.
2.0.1 09/08/2022
This major update introduces batch resizing. You can now resize many images to the same size, at once!
As always, flexible settings provide a full control on how to handle changing image aspect ratio, small original images, etc.
2.0 05/07/2022
The Print tool is improved to show a better preview of the "fit image on page" settings
1.8.2 13/06/2022
• It is now possible to change the image format when resizing to achieve the required file size. The image format makes a great contribution to the file size, thus it is convenient to control it there.
• When exporting an image in multiple sizes, and a pixel size is selected as the filename suffix, always add this suffix. However, don't add the first index suffix "@1x", only add it for "@2x" and greater.
• Multiple user interface improvements.
1.8.1 12/05/2022
This major update enables image export in multiple sizes. Makes it easy e.g. to prepare an image for multiple screen scales (@2x, @3x), or generate its small preview (thumbnail).
Define the number of sizes, and iSize automatically proposes scaled versions. You can rename size variations, if required. Edit the base filename and define the filename suffix style. Or rename and change any size variation manually.
1.8 19/04/2022
This major update brings a couple of new features and user interface improvements:
• Image printing. You now have control on whether the image is scaled to fit the page or printed at the exact size defined by the pixel size and the print resolution metadata. In addition, whether the image can be scaled up (with a possible image quality loss), or only down.
• Processed Photos Library images can now be saved not only as a new version, but also as a new image.
• User interface improvements to make the workflow more clear.
1.7 11/04/2022
This major update adds an image metadata viewer and editor. Tap the new "Edit Metadata" action and see:
• General image info.
• IPTC and GPS location info with a map.
• Camera and lens settings (EXIF, TIFF).
• Editable IPTC info describing the image and its creator.
• Editable keywords.
The editor provides quick commands to clear the desired metadata sections with a single tap.
1.6 05/04/2022
This major update brings a number of improvements to the Crop & Straighten tool:
• In addition to cropping with a defined aspect ratio, you can now crop to a defined pixel size. The cropped image part is resized to the required width and height. It is a shortcut to quickly crop and resize at once.
• The crop to size tool can use resize presets defining width and height in pixels.
• The crop tool now indicates transparent image areas with a chessboard background.
• Add an Info panel in the crop tool. It shows the image size and the cropped part size. When cropping to a pixel size, it also warns when the cropped part is too small and will be enlarged.
In addition, this update brings the following:
• Improved handling of the enlargement and aspect ratio change in the Resize module.
• When applying a preset defining a border color with transparency, iSize checks whether the current image format supports transparency. If not, offers to change the format.
• A number of minor user interface improvements.
1.5 20/03/2022
This major update brings custom resize presets. Create your own presets, apply them on any image, and save a lot of time when defining your configuration!
• All advanced settings, such as the aspect ratio adjustment and enlargement approaches, are a part of your presets.
• Presets are synchronized on all your devices connected to iCloud. Define on one, and use everywhere!
This update also improves the Crop & Straighten tool. Now you can define the straighten angle with a high precision, with a dedicated slider.
In addition, there are multiple minor user interface improvements.
1.4 22/02/2022
This major update makes it possible to import images from Files (in addition to Photos). Including connected cloud storage services such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, and others. This significantly extends the ways iSize can fit in your workflow.
As the app has become mature, it now requires a purchase to export processed images without a promotional watermark. Offers both a yearly subscription and a one-time purchase.
1.3 09/02/2022
• It is now possible to import images with transparency from the Photos Library. Add e.g. HEIC or PNG images with transparency to Photos, import to iSize, and transparency is preserved.
- Note that the JPEG image format doesn't support transparency. Use e.g. HEIC or PNG if you need it.
- Note that transparent images edited in Photos loose their transparency. However, iSize can import the original image in this case.
• Now iSize warns you if you change the image format from something that supports transparency to something that doesn't. Thus, there is a risk of losing transparency (flattening the image).
• Indicate transparency in "Transform".
• Transparency is only shown in "Preview" and "Transform" when the current image format supports it.
• Minor user interface improvements.
1.2.1 05/02/2022
This major update brings resizing flexibility to a new level.
Now iSize lets you decide what to do with the image if its aspect ratio changes:
• crop, automatically or manually
• deform
• add borders, transparent or of any chosen color.
Also if the image is too small for the requested size:
• enlarge it
• add borders.
The update also includes multiple user interface improvements.
1.2 01/02/2022
• User interface improvements.
• Fix possible minor pixel size inaccuracies in resized images.
• Improve the user input error checking and reporting. In Resize, and when entering a custom crop aspect ratio.
• Fix possible issues when entering large numbers in Resize.
• Fix a possible Resize text fields misplacement when the keyboard is shown.
1.1.1 21/12/2021
This major update brings several advanced features :
• Resize by defining the maximum image file size. E.g. make an image file at most 1 MB in size.
• Resize by defining the image resolution in megapixels. E.g. make a 5-megapixel image.
• Change the image file format to JPEG, HEIC, TIFF, PNG, GIF, or BMP.
• Configure the format specific settings: compression quality for JPEG and HEIC, lossless compression for TIFF. This is useful to control the file size.
• Transform image: rotate or flip in any direction.
• Crop with your custom defined aspect ratio.
• Save the processed image in your Photos library. Only available with the library access permission.
• User interface improvements.
1.1 18/12/2021
• Define image size in mm
• User interface improvements
