more The only thing that would make this app closer to perfection is if it synced with my iCal calendar. There are few other apps that I find as useful and well made as this one is. Slopes is also well made and is in good ways for the kind of app it is, has a different direction with design decisions.I really love the little subtle clicks when sliding up or down in the calendar view and the Delorean Easter Egg that pops into view in the travel type context selection if you add an entry for the time of the event that is before the travel time. It might not make sense they way I’m explaining it, if you want to reproduce the condition to see the Delorean, set the event time to a day before the event date and it should happen.

Firstly, I love this app on iPhone, iPad & Mac. It looks absolutely incredible, it’s easy to use and super functional. The widgets are my favourites on iPhone and iPad as they get true black and are super minimal. I also love the animations, user interface and being able to select a default Map service I use (including Waze). But there’s one major flaw that has actually got to the point where I’ve uninstalled the app on all my devices and I’m cancelling my membership. The way apple sync’s calendar events with is super slow especially when you use any other service but iCloud, it can literally take up to 30-60 min for the event to show up in the calendar even though you’ve just changed it on another device, this includes using ‘fetch’ mode which is supposed to be the optimal setting. I’m predominantly a Google user, I use gmail for work and for personal, as a business owner my schedule is constantly changing so I absolutely cannot have my calendar being incorrect when I’ve changed it on another device or someone else has changed it. I’ve seen other services make you sign into their app with Google so it syncs directly instead of using Apple’s calendar to essentially ‘copy and paste events’.For me this is a major flaw, not just on Apple’s behalf but with your service as well and I’ve unfortunately had to switch back to Google Calendar which looks dull and boring but at least I know I can rely on it to show me information correctly everyday. I’m not a software engineer so I’m not sure how dramatic of a fix this would be but if you can resolve this issue, I’d be happy to re-subscribe and re-install on all of my devices.

Its the new year and im looking for a perfect calender app. Ive searched long and hard and have almost finished my 7 day trial of this app. There are so many free alternatives but i cant help it i love this one, it’s perfect. Idk why, its so simple and cute but does the job nicely, easy and relaxing to use. I will probably pay for this one, i only wish it was a joint subscription for both apps (timepage and actions). Still looking for an alternative to do list but i might just have to pay for both, i cant help it its perfect!!

I’ve tried so many calendars over the years and still haven’t found the perfect one...but this is close. Looks great, easy to use and on the one occasion I contacted customer support the response time was outstanding. The irritations/improvements that would make this a 5 star: 1. Has started freezing every now and then...have to open and close a few times to fix it 2. Would be awesome to be able to rotate phone to landscape and see a bar chart style week/month view 3. Am trying their other app ‘Actions’...it’s good but so much duplication between the two I can’t see myself subscribing past a month. Just make it one app!

4.8.0 16/09/2025
Improved Japanese Calendar Support (and a fun fact):
We’ve fixed a bug in that affected how Japanese calendar years were displayed. Timepage now fully supports devices set to the Japanese calendar, so you’ll see the correct era and year—both in the app and widgets.
A fun fact about the Japanese calendar: The Japanese year system is tied to imperial eras. Each era begins when a new emperor ascends to the throne. For example, the Reiwa era started on May 1st, 2019, making that date the beginning of Reiwa 1, even though it was already partway through the Gregorian year. If a new emperor were to take the throne next week, Apple would need to release a system update so your device knows the name and start date of the new era.
