Flaw Addiction
My first impression was that this is yet another pay to win game. However, the daily tasks make this game quite playable even for those who do not wish to spend a lot of money. The game is not perfect. It does have some odd quirks. The game balance feels a bit off with some components that seem to be completely useless. I think only the computer controlled players use some components.Another strange quirk is that some upgraded components actually have significant downsides in firing rates, or damage or range that make them completely useless compared to the lower version. Some have no downsides so are obviously extremely useful. The pilots flying the ships also struck me as either high on alcohol or drugs. They seem to fly and shoot fairly randomly, so it is hard to pick a winner when ships go to battle.I would give this game slightly under 5 stars for the quirks. However, since it is closer to 5, I gave it a 5.

Love the game but...

Ok, I do love this game. It is one of very few that has kept my attention beyond a couple of months - and it is a lot of fun!But...I suspect not all ‘players’ are equal. I think some of the players are either bots or devs designed with far more power than you can get normally at that level. There are some ships I fight who are smaller and less armoured yet all of a sudden they chew through my armor like it’s tissue paper. Where do they get these awesome weapons? I certainly can’t replicate the damage they can do no matter what I equip. And yes I’ve played this game enough to have figured out most of the tactics when building a ship.This isn’t sour grapes, this is just me wondering exactly what these ships have that is not available to the rest of us ...?But hey, it’s still a lot of fun. 😀

Thank you for the feedback! That's the issue of the matchmaking system. We are trying to fix it in every update, so the game will be playable for all the players.

Good game but some issues

This game is good don’t get me wrong and It has good parts and bad parts to it, I love the ship building concept which allows for varying designs for different opponents. I’m almost 100% positive that a lot of the online battles are just bots, I’ve been completely destroyed in a high level ship in a few moments with a ship class lower than mine. Also i have an issue with the most recent update, there is a “your free bonus” button on the left side of the screen just below the ship modification menu, when I try to claim my reward I’m told “available only by level 18” I wasn’t able to claim my level 17 reward either because of this and it has confused me, am I missing something?

The ship layouts at times can be frustrating however when you get the right build it’s like taking a blowtorch to candy. My kids enjoy watch it and have accounts. We spend time talking about builds. The game play is simple enough. Build a ship and watch a dopey AI fire everything its got. Strangely enough that can be rewarding. The ads are at the users discretion after a small micro transaction. I spent around the cost of a pizza on it at the start and that was enough to keep me entertained. Some of the offers I’ve seen aren’t in a dedicated players interest and at one point all you’re fighting are Destroyer Vega. All in all if you spend wisely this is a great little game for killing a few mins.
