I’ve been using a lot of different note taking apps for the last two years. I now take all my notes using Noteshelf as it has different pen options. There are two things that I want Noteshelf team to change or add. The first one is that if I use ppt-shape horizontal files, somehow I cannot zoom out and make the size of the slide smaller while writing. The second one is that if I export my notes to pdf file, somehow the thickness of letters gets significantly thinner and it’s hard to see my handwriting as the lines get really thin and it became nearly invisible to see in my laptop. I’m using fountain pen so I’m not too sure if it only applies to fountain pen option or not.

Honestly love this App, been using it for years, or at least throughout the generations of the App, as we are on the 3rd addition now.There are only 2 limitations that I have found with this App, that might be beneficial for the Devs to know, if they aren’t currently working on these…1. Stability gradient for the stylus: Honestly, adding a stability gradient to the pens, markers or pencil items would be a game changer, as I tend to draw a lot of diagrams, but have to do a lot of erasing to get them not to look like a squiggly mess, which properly takes up more time in the long run than it is worth, but I am a visual learner, so whatcha gonna do. If a stability option was added I am confident that alone would be a huge incentive to use this App.2. Document Compatibility:The mass MAJORITY of documents I import are perfect, so don’t let this deter you from this App. It is honestly the best and most versatile App I have found, and I went through a few before I landed here. BUT certain documents that maybe decreased the margin space or have more complex diagrams or figure, it doesn’t translate over properly and some can be missing sometimes or distorted.I hope this was helpful! & thanks again for a terrific App!
Great app, but need landscape mode

I used Noteshelf 2 for ages, before upgrading to Noteshelf 3. It’s a great app, but is missing one tiny feature that is really annoying. On N2 you could look at documents in either landscape or portrait orientation on the iPhone and iPad. In N3 you can only view in portrait orientation on the iPhone. It’s just a tiny thing, but it’s SUPER annoying. I’m still using N2, so that I can use this feature. Please bring it back, even if it is an optional feature that can be turned on or off in settings.

After using GoodNotes for years, I came back to an earlier edition of Noteshelf which I had previously bought and used, to find this upgraded version with an offer to buy the Premium version. I am so glad I did.For a start, there is an entire library of resources which are free to use to build journals, and notebooks. The tabbed notebook is simple to use and much easier to navigate than GoodNotes which requires constant changing between editing tools and navigating for links. You don’t need to do that here. Tap the tab and it instantly links you to the page in the notebook where you can continue to type, or write on the page. Converting handwriting to text is also easy with the lasso tool.The AI function is amazingly good. I have used it many times to create a quick summary, notes or examples for a topic I am studying. So far, I have not found anything to fault. This app has quickly become my favourite note-taking app. I highly recommend it.
