i have been playing this game daily, religiously, for months and i absolutely ADORE IT. the art style, the story, the characters’ designs and personalities, i love it all !! (if you dont like to play games for the characters, dont worry !! they are just the occasional chime in to add a bit of flavour to the game).im neurodivergent and love to sort things, but also disabled so i rarely get to do that irl. but !! in this game i could organise my collections of items across the board all day if i so wished !! i know this may seem insignificant, but i really go enjoy it :>my only qualm is that i always want more space for items, though i admit i am a bit of a hoarder. i could certainly use my coins for more space but ughhh i want to use them for MORE ITEMS !!my favourite part of the game when out of energy (😔 so many gems that i cant seem to save spent) is watching the character sprites stuck in their endless hells of torment. i like to imagine that the couple having a picnic in the french garden were once sworn enemies, that the lads running for their lives in the rocket area i havent gotten to yet ,, really deserved it? and so on and such. ive played quite a few merge games, but this is the only one i have never deleted, and easily have had downloaded more than any of the others combined !! its clear that a lot of love has gone into this game, and i enjoy every second. i never leave reviews, but i just had to stop mid game to tell you that if you are searching for a game to play, look no further. :> !! <3

The idea of this game is very simple and so is the gameplay, and I mean that in both a positive and negative way. The game is easy and fun but can also very easily become repetitive, tedious and boring. The game, along with most mobile games, relies drastically upon the player watching ads to gain a small amount of energy, energy they need to do litterally any action in the whole game. I understand that the trade off of “free” mobile games is ads but I think the reward from the ads just makes the game feel tedious because of how fast you run out of energy. I find I constantly have to take breaks from the game because I run out of energy and totally forget about the game for a few days. The more people wait and forget about the game the more likely people are to invest less time and eventually delete it. I think maybe some revision is needed, I think the biggest downfall is that everytime you click something it uses energy, I think that system needs revision, you should be able to play the game for more than 5 minutes before it forces you to stop Aside from that it’s an alright game, it’s simple and the art style is cute

I play a lot of merge/idle/incremental games but they always get to a point where the grind is no longer fun and the only way to progress is ptw. I like the grind so I will never pay money to speed up progress in a game and this one, despite having played for a long time and getting close to completing all missions, still does not feel like that. Everything in the game is attainable through gameplay, even the ability to open the bank. It does get grindy but never frustrating or boring. The missions are fun and I like watching the town evolve. If you like the grind and want a merge game that doesn’t seem to hit an impossible peak, Merge Mayor will probably scratch that itch.

I have been playing this for five years now and have loved it, but recently the bicycle parts have become so hard to get that I am simply not enjoying it anymore. Playing just now i have ploughed through my six level 10 bike part generators, three times and more, using a lot of energy and having bought gems to get more energy, recharging the generators multiple times also, all for a total of five complete bicycles. I am trying to complete the coliseum challenge which requires 78 of these darn things. There’s no issue with collecting other items. Just the bike parts but it is absolutely ruining my enjoyment of the game and im now considering deleting it. I’m not sure how this is supposed to be fun,especially since now some of the ads are two minutes long. As I said i am a long time player and I have spent a considerable amount of money in this game. Please do something to fix the rate of the bike parts. It’s crazy to be going through three full generators and not getting a single part. Going from five stars to one star
