The game plays ok at least for f2p in my experience so far but it’s maddening that you spend energy, the resource the game limits, for only a possibility of getting what you are targeting. i like some randomness but some should be eliminated from this game, like orbs that promise 50 or more shards yet almost always deliver far less, and shouldn’t even have the ability to drop only 5 or single shards. There are plenty of other orbs that do that already anyway. Also no target path to a character the player wants, and no guaranteed shards missions in the regular campaign, it’s not like you get 10 or so at once anyway, most characters a are 75 or so shards but there are a few 15 ones, still earning them 2 at a time and daily limits on how many attempts mean it is going to be slow or held up anyway, not only that but once you unlock a character you need to upgrade, level, rank, etc up anyway, which is an ongoing process... so progress is maddeningly slow. That’s most of the bad, the good is, well I recommend playing for yourself to see :). Hint blitz mode is fun.Hint to developers replayability should come from mixing up battles and strategies, trying out different team combinations, etc, and varying which enemies, etc, which is why blitz mode is fun, it’s not as much fun being faced with endless levels, progression and gear upgrades.... also try a mode where players can have multiple instances of the same character, the enemies do it all the time.... I face often many ultranationalist minions that are the same and even once earlier on an entire team of only Thor, but no game pathway to getting my own Thor :(
