This is the most amazingly presented camp I have visited in Australia.We were welcomed by our host Jacqui near the entry to the property, big smile and very friendly. Jacqui told us about near by shopping and local hotels and said if we needed anything just call/message her ❤️Upon arrival at the beautifully presented site we were greeted with a box of essentials - fly/bug spray, assorted teas, mosi coils and repellent, first aid kit, fire starters, hammer etc plus a bag of the essential marshmallows!!! All with a personalized greeting card. I pre ordered a $20 box of firewood which was nice and dry plus lots of dry cones provided for starting. Both fire pits were already setup ready to light!!! ❤️ Both of which you can cook on, one has a wire grate and the other a flat stainless plate 🙏🙏 There was also a large fresh water tank and bucket provided, another box of wood with a tomahawk (honesty box), 2x hammocks with cushions/pillows, nice picnic table plus a 3x3 covered area. Just a brief walk down stream (creek) was another table and chairs setup in a lovely spot on the creek edge. Not far from the entry is a small dam that has a 2 seater pedal boat which was a another awesome addition to this beautiful spot that is only a little over an hour’s drive from Brisbane. Our little girl loved kayaking on the dam.I highly recommend this site to anyone, single, couples, families and groups! The site is surrounded by trees (amazing shade on a hot summers day). While we don’t usually go back to the same place this is one spot we would!!Thanks very much Jacqui, if this was a hotel it would be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Made a booking last weekend, need to wait for host approval, which expires in 24 hours. At every stage of the booking and giving payment details a message appears that states ‘you will not be charged at this point’, so I continued to complete the booking without concern. Wind forward 24+ hours and the booking has expired as there was no response from the host. Checked out your Help page to see what I could do as I was very keen to stay at this hosts camp, Help says to try a second time as the host may have overlooked the email from Hipcamp. Luckily before I did this hubby was checking our inline banking and discovered the full fee for the booking which had expired had been charged to our bank account. No goods were provided, the booking expired, and yet Hipcamp had taken the funds. Investigating further I discover that it can take up to 7 days to return those funds to us. This is wrong, wrong, wrong. I contacted our bank to get their advice, have sent the email our bank provided to me to send to to you which gives step by step instructions how that charge can/should/could be returned to our account immediately, it can be done! Or our bank suggested we lodge a Transaction Dispute action against Hipcamp for wrongful fee charge from our account. I will never use your service again and urge others to be cautious.

Great place to spend time with the granddaughter on her holidays after travelling 11 hours arriving a little late we were greated with a friendly response and shown the area to set up even though it was raining a lot of the time we enjoyed ourselves with a big dam kayaks to use bushwalking tracks big fire pit area ( which unfortunately we only got to use once due to the wet weather ) run by friendly owners that are willing to help you in anyway and a big tick to us is a great place to bring the family dog Blaze our baby truly loved it and we loved that we were able to bring her a big undercover area to sit under at night or out of the rain only thing we would suggest would to maybe put a side wind break on the undercover area as it can get a little windy at times but besides that a awesome spot no other campers around quiet and away from everyone but close to everything with only a 20/30 min drive we will definitely be beck but hopefully in warmer weather so we can enjoy everything on offer there thanks again for a great place to make memories with our granddaughter

From the first message from Lisa you know this is a well organized camp ground and property. Very clear easy instructions on how to get there. Campsites are so visible and clearly marked including the portaloo assigned to that site (camper on site 6 used our loo in camp 7 and wished she hadn’t!). Sites are so large even with someone on the next camp site their so far away. River running through property is so pretty and you can swim and kayak easily.Lisa and Peter run a well organized property allowing us to share their beautiful home and its surroundings. Every toilet is spotless and maintained daily. Fire wood is available to buy and use in the fire pits on every site. For us a wonderful stay with our grandson who was able to run around and explore. We will be back soon that’s for sure. Thank you Lisa and Peter.
