At the end of my trip with an hour left before I went to the airport I returned to my hotel but left my phone in the grab. After trying to go through customer service on grab who could not contact the driver I feared the worst, but that’s when Hang my driver went above and beyond, replying to my message an hour after the ride with his personal contact details. He then drove half an hour without hesitation to return the phone to where he dropped me off. What a fantastic image to leave Malaysia with, filled with such kind and genuine people. Thank you so much Hang, you have made my trip!!
Where is support when you need it????

I have read elsewhere that you cannot reach support when you require it and that is my experience as I have been trying to speak with someone as I had to pay a ‘no show’ fee when we were waiting and waiting and messaged driver and even called but he never took our call as he knew he didn’t come to collect us. We have been catching Uber and Grab rides for a long time and make certain our pick up point is accurate and we never order a ride unless we are already at the pick up point, the live map indicated he was at our location but he was nowhere to be seen and we were in an open area without any traffic so know this driver lied. Now we have to pay a no show fee which is against our principles. We do not wish to have to complain here but if Grab has now decided to become faceless then this is the outcome you must face. How many years of University do the person who made this idiotic decision do??
So many bugs it's easier to get a taxi

I've been using this app on my trips to Asia and it has a lot of bugs that make using it difficult... Leaving me opting for a cab in most cases.1. Mutil-trip function won't work - just keep saying payment error... Yet when ordering single trips there's nothing wrong with the same payment method (and no, there is definitely no issue of funds on my card). Particularly annoying because when you try to order another single trip at the first drop off, it's not always easy for your driver to accept the next ride and it gets snapped up by another driver not nearby. 2. Message / call driver service only works around 10% of the time..I'll receive the messages or calls from the driver but I can't answer the call and my responses don't go through. And no, this isn't an issue with my internet connection as everything else will be working at the time including ordering a grab. It results in me having to walk to the first checkpoint of my building to meet driver as I'm not able to advise them of my unit number which is needed at security check Point to get in to pick me up. 3. App can sometimes logout mid-oeder and unable to get back in for some time to see number plate etc... Results in me having to ask around random cars if they're my driver.This means I mostly just use a cab now as this service is too unreliable and stressful.

I wish I could say that Grab Da Nang was perfect, but I can’t. There are too many variables.The worst was a Driver who made me walk 50-60 metres to his car with bags of groceries when he overshot the pick up point. He then must have got a better offer, more money from someone on the footpath or somewhere else. He just got back in his vehicle and drove off.Lateness, crazy driving, heavy braking, taking own tip from your change, language problems, cranky drivers, lazy drivers who won’t open their own boot for your groceries, lazy drivers who won’t help you load/unload your groceries.Grab food will sometimes cancel your order because they don’t have a bike available … 20-30 minutes AFTER you’ve placed your order. Why not use a car, act honourably towards your Customers and get that meal delivered.
