(WORTH READING!!)Hey I’m a funimate user and just to let you know, I’ve tried many different apps for making edits and funimate is the only one i’ve stuck with. It’s cool transitions and effects and the fact that you can use a video for your sound is great! I love funimate. But as I use it more and more I’m getting tired of using the same transitions over and over! Maybe if each week you swapped out some transitions or added a new one twice a week or made some of the pro transitions free as well? Maybe you could have a challenge to unlock some more transitions like how you unlock that one by following you on instagram. I’ve read through a lot of reviews, complaints and comments on your photos and it seems to be that a lot of people are thinking the same way I have been. Editing is my favourite thing to do but it won’t be for much longer if all my edits look the same. Not everyone can afford or even has a way to pay for the pro version. You really are losing a lot of customers to the lack of transitions. I, a customer and user, am speaking on behalf of the users of funimate and say that this would promote your app and make it more popular if you act on this. Thankyou for taking the time to read this, I hope it was worth it xx

So i enjoy funimate, it’s good for editing and making videos without needing a lot of money. This is the one thing that bugs me though.What happened was, one day i went to log in to my old funimate account, though having “warnings” for doing things that weren’t against the rules, like deleting a video. So, like i stated, i was trying all my passwords, i reset the password and it stated that my account was “suspended till further notice”, though i didn’t do anything to break the funimate rules, i just wanted to get back into my account. So of course I emailed their support team using the email and i got no response. It has roughly been over a year and i still have not gotten a email back from them. I ended up making a new funimate account so i could use the new features, but i am still annoyed on the fact that i was completely ignored when I ask what i did wrong to get my account suspended.

The last time I opened this app was a while ago, when I was trying to log in to my old facebook account, but the only related button seen when trying to log in with "sign in with Apple." A bug in the app, easy fix, I'll email them. But I get a generic response reiterating my problem and saying they'll pass it on to a support team. Sent screenshots of my account and everything. Then I look deeper into the app. They have been using generative AI to make their challenge descriptions to the point when an old hashtag said at the bottom: "Ask ChatGPT." A massive red flag already. So I emailed them again about this. Same generic response template with the only difference being that they'll get a "human support team" to look into it instead of a normal support team which is pretty funny but still. They do not care about the community anymore, constantly making their app more unusable as time went on. I then put my foot down and deleted the new account. I don't recommend getting this app.(Saturday 20 December edit: I reinstalled the app as a guest to see if anything changed. It didn't, although it is a bit of a roulette when you search a certain term in the elements tab. Not saying which one for other's safety, but some troll has uploaded clips of adult content in between the other elements. Sorry, but a fan editing app is not where you need to post those.)

Tbh I used to make funimates all the time, about 2-5 a day I had a private accountant nt and only got about 7-10 likes per video from my friends. One day at school I was talking to my friend about how I should go public, I decided to go public with my parent approval, When I went public I didn't find it as much fun as going private because when u were public EVERYONE was aming for a lit of feature and the pressure was on, It took me about 3 hourse to edit a video but when I was privated it took like 5. I only posted about 4 videos a week and my schueld go really busy and had no time to post a funimate, I got more and more inactive with only posting one video per week or even no videos per week. Then I quitted funimate because of all the pressure from what turned into a fun activity to a depressing app I just couldn't take it. I reccomed gping private if u cant handled pressure but if ur not busy at all and want to go public go for it. If u get to the point where u get busy and inactive go private or have a break before u quit just like me.
