This app is easy to use. Great for university students. It allows me to create as many files and sub files as I need and import all my documents into it. I can highlight, underline, write notes on the documents.Recently it has been glitching slightly. Sometimes, when I import a document into the app it is I. The recent documents but you can’t find the location of it and have to reimport it in order to relocate it. Also I wish you could change the style of writhing (bold, italic etc) with in the a single textbox. But it only lets your write that whole text box in one style. This is slightly annoying when adding the references to my documents as I need to add another text box, space out the original text box and over lap the new text to make sure the italic sections sit where they need to be

Update 1 May 2024:Received response from developer regarding the issue mentioned in my previous review , and when I checked the settings in the app today the iOS Data Protection was already turned off and I tested the current version of the app by playing a long playlist and it worked perfectly. Thanks! Documents is really the best file management app I ever used on the iPad! Original review :On my iPad Pro, the app will crash after playing music in the background for a few minutes. Apple files doesn’t have this issue, but certainly Documents is more user friendly and I expect it to be a good all-purpose app that is capable of playing my flac files

Update 1 May 2024:Received response from developer regarding the issue mentioned in my previous review , and when I checked the settings in the app today the iOS Data Protection was already turned off and I tested the current version of the app by playing a long playlist and it worked perfectly. Thanks! Documents is really the best file management app I ever used on the iPad! Original review :On my iPad Pro, the app will crash after playing music in the background for a few minutes. Apple files doesn’t have this issue, but certainly Documents is more user friendly and I expect it to be a good all-purpose app that is capable of playing my flac files

Great app but interface too clunky now

This is still my go to App for document storage however since the changes earlier this year I no longer experience the same enjoyment. Like many updates to perfectly working apps these days, the removal of views that used to show more information in less space has reduced the time I spend in the app. The previous List View only took up one line but is now more an icon view and takes up 2-3 lines. I have tried to adjust to this but sadly I know what I like and how I prefer to view my information. When you work from a device with a small screen, every cm of space is valuable. This change is not dissimilar to what is happening to many apps. You only need to ask a Fitbit user what they think of the recent “upgrade”. Respect your users and don’t change functions and interfaces that attracted your users in the first place.

I now, use this app, in lieu Adobe as it is so much more user-friendly and has so many more options.I recently got a new iPhone with a larger memory and there is heaps of free space however this app keeps freezing on me when I’m trying to edit PDFs or trying to fill in a form. Can you advise what I’m doing wrong or any suggestions?** I wrote this review over a year ago and I have since got an iPhone 16 with an even bigger memory but every time I open this app the phone becomes extremely hot and then the app freezes -im so sad, this is the best app I have found in years and I don’t wanna have to let it go. Do you have any suggestions please??
