Minnesota Whist is a regional Whist variant popular in Minnesota and South Dakota. It’s played in partnerships like classic Whist, but each round is decided by a simple High or Low bidding mechanic — and because there are no trumps, winning tricks is pure suit play and timing.

Quickfire rules
After the cards are dealt, each player bids High (black card) or Low (red card). Bid cards are revealed in order; if the first black card appears, that player has granded and the round is played High (teams try to win as many tricks as possible). If all bid cards are red, the round is played Low (teams try to win as few tricks as possible).
Players follow suit if possible. With no trumps, the highest card of the led suit wins each trick. Scoring depends on whether the round is High or Low and whether the set bonus rule is enabled.

- Mobile cards on all devices: thinner cards with larger numbers, now available everywhere.

- AutoPlay: plays a card for you when there's only one legal move (and on the final trick).
- Claim: claim the remaining tricks when all remaining cards are guaranteed winners.
- Show starting hands: shows the starting hands of all players at the end of each round.
- AI improvements: updated AI logic for how it plays low rounds.
