- Tower Defense Pathing / New Enemy AI
- One thing is clear. Up to this point, Blox TD has lacked the feel of a traditional tower defense game, especially when it comes to enemy pathing so we’ve rebuilt the AI from the ground up. MOST enemies that spawn will now follow a path. When these enemies reach a pylon or the base, they will deal damage and immediately die. Not all enemies will walk the path and not all enemies will stay on the path when you hit them. Be careful.
- Path walkers have a .5% of leaving the path and becoming aggressive when taking damage.
- Lieutenants, Bosses, Mono’s, Slime’d Duplo’s, and a few special enemies with abilities (Such as the Suicidal Crow) will not walk a path.
- Engine Upgrade
- It’s finally here. The engine has been upgraded and with that upgrade comes reduced chances to crash (Especially in Unlimited Mode), improved performance, and overall stability.
- Tech Tree Level 2
- The Tech Tree Level 2 is now available to roll on. The gains are larger but more costly.

- We’ve heard you loud and clear about the lack of meaningful loot from the spiders den. Wood in particular has been halting the progress of your Kingdom upgrades so we’ll be making some major changes to the drops. We’ll closely monitor these changes and also take a look at the Snake pit loot as well.

- Introducing the Battlebot! The newest Defense that moves around the battlefield like a hero. It prioritizes enemies closest to the base and has the ability to protect itself if danger gets too close. It isn’t perfect so be careful about where you place it. When no enemies are around, it’ll walk back to the crystal and relax until the next enemy shows up. With the ability to remove the an enemies defense with each shot, it’s a powerful asset to your team.

- Soft Level Cap Removed
- Previously, your hero level was bound by your account level. That cap has been removed now that we see where the balance of the game stands. The level up cost has been adjusted to compensate.
- Crash Fix
- We’ve finally tracked down the crash issue. When a turret was placed just before losing your base, the game would crash in certain situations when the turret attempted to attack an enemy Lieutenant and the hit animation would play on a loop with a 0 frame delay. That’s been fixed now. Thank you for all of your reports.^
- Boss AI Updated
- We’ve taken a look at Bosses and the interactions with your team and we want them to feel like more than a power check. When bosses spawn, they’ll now have a small chance to instantly target Heroes and Defenses before moving to Pylons and the Base. Beware and use caution.

- The X Button
- We’ve fixed the issue with players needing pin point accuracy to close some screens. This was one of the most requested features (Outside of a new hero and more defenses) that we’ve received. While the first new defense (The Battle Bot) is on the way, we had the chance to fix the x button being hard to press across every screen in the game. This is especially helpful on devices with smaller screens.
- Button Redesigns
- There were quite a few outdated buttons hidden among the thousand windows in the game so we found them and gave them a new look. We won’t list them all to protect your eyes but there were… around 50+ of them across 200 different windows.
- AFK Fix
- There was an issue where AFK could not be claimed if the free stone you were receiving came with a very specific passive and rarity. We apologize for this and we were able to hot-fix this issue on Saturday. We’ll be mailing 500 diamonds to everyone as compensation after the update goes live.
- The Log Skill
- The Log Skill now knocks up enemies for 1.25 seconds. We’ll continue to revamp and add to skills to make them as viable as normal defenses. Let us know of any balance changes that would make your favorite skill more fun to use.

- We overhauled the forest Map with rain particles, puddles, a waterfall, and new particles for towers and enemies.

-In this update, we’ve put a lot of work into the clarity of items across the game. Now, when you click on your loot, you’ll get a pop up showing the amount you own, where to find more, and how to use them.

- We understand that the level up rewards just didn’t feel… rewarding. We’ve overhauled everything, removing the % buffs and replaced them with flat stat buffs. With the new system, you and your team will feel the difference when reaching milestones.
- All % increases have been swapped out for flat buff amounts
- Buffs to specific classes and types remain unchanged

- Heroes now start every battle with their ultimate abilities ready to use

- A large portion of the feedback we received was about the “Tower Defense” portion of the game. Towers dying just doesn’t feel good when it’s based on ammo so we overhauled the entire system.
- Energy Turrets, Flamethrower Turrets, and Snowball Turrets now have infinite ammo
- All turrets can now be attacked by enemies
- All turrets have a maximum amount they can be placed during a battle with each game mode offering a different amount
