This version introduces not one but two great features: full iCloud support and Pokémon alternative forms. Thanks to iCloud, your teams and checklists are protected, and it's easier than ever to retrieve your data. All alternate forms of Pokémon, such as Unown or male and female forms, are now available. Even better: you can easily filter these forms to see only what interests you thanks to the new and redesigned filter panel in the Pokédex section.

The version switcher has been completely redesigned and improved for simpler operation. You can now switch between versions from anywhere in the app. The sub-data menu has been removed for a simpler and more intuitive data selection process.
